Have you always wanted to explore jewelry making, but didn’t know where to start? Dreaming of creating a ring or pendant with your own hands, even if you've never used a saw or a torch before?

I teach introductory jewelry-making workshops at Les Affûtés, a collaborative creative space in Montreal. These classes are designed especially for absolute beginners — no prior experience required. Whether you’re curious, artistic, or simply eager to try something new, you’re more than welcome!

  1. Create your own brass earrings or pendant

Discover jewelry making by creating your own brass pendant or pair of earrings! In this 3.5-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to saw, shape, and polish metal using professional tools (jeweler’s saw, hammers, pliers, rotary tool, etc.). A brass sheet will be provided, and you’ll design your own shape to transform it into a unique pair of earrings or a pendant.

No experience required — this workshop is open to everyone!

2. Intro to Lost-Wax Casting Workshop — Create Your Own Silver Ring

Create your own silver ring using the ancient lost-wax casting technique!
Over two sessions, you’ll sculpt your ring in wax using a heated tool, allowing for freeform, organic designs. Your model will then be cast in sterling silver by a professional, and you’ll finish it yourself — sawing, filing, sanding and polishing — until it’s ready to wear.

Week 1: Wax sculpting
Week 2: Silver finishing
No experience needed — all materials included!
